This mission of this initiative is to help remote Jewish communities build mikvaos for community members and visitors.
The Foundation will make a grant to eligible communities based on certain criteria.
Generally, in order to qualify, the nearest mikvah must be a minimum distance of a two-hour one-way drive. Additionally, it must be estimated that at least ten families will use the mikvah regularly.
The Foundation will consider a grant only after plans are finalized, and permits, budget and a fundraising plan are in place
All grant award decisions will be made by the Foundation board after meeting the local rabbi and conducting internal research.
May we merit to increase taharah in Klal Yisroel together!
